Gudrun Steen-Andersen

Born 1950 in Copenhagen.

Studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen with Professors Mogens Bøggild and Svend Wiig Hansen, debuted in 1983 at the Kunstnernes Påskeudstilling (Easter Artists’ Exhibition).

2001 Portrait relief made out of bronze of factory owner Tage Vanggaard,
commissioned by the Vanggaard Foundation, exhibited by the Textilforum in Herning

2000 Exhibition of the sculpture cycle De Profundis in Aarhus Building of Art,
consisting of the following works: Elf Circle, In the Beginning, Three Sketches, On the Edge, Seeress, Guardian, Survivor, The Old Person, Shadow

1999 Little Unicorn made out of bronze, commissioned and exhibited by the Steno Museum, Aarhus

1998 Portrait bust made out of bronze of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II,
will be exhibited in the New Aarhus Art Museum, financed by the CAC Foundation

1998 Portrait bust made out of bronze of the factory owner Mads Ege Damgaard,
commissioned by the Ege Foundation, exhibited in the Textilforum, Herning
