1957 Born in Madrid on May 21; mother: Arlette Jacob-Maquette, painter; father: Manuel Diez-Rollan, painter, sculptor and stage designer

1973-1974 Apprenticeship with his father in Berlin

1975-1978 Trained as a stone sculptor in Frankfurt

1976-1979 Attended "Staedelschule" in Frankfurt, Professor Croissant, wins national award

1977-1985 Projects as wood and stone restorer at the Kaiserdom an the "Alte Oper" in Frankfurt as well as in Freiburg and Hannover

since 1985 Free-lance sculptor

1987 Own studio in Mahlerten/ Nordstemmen

2000 Called upon to serve in groups dealing with art issues
