Andrea Bucci

Andrea Bucci has a degree in architecture and also worked as an architect for a number of years. He taught himself sculpture – although he had been familiar with many kinds of artistic work from his childhood, since he is the son of an artist and spent innumerable hours as a child in his father’s studio. He created his first works at the age of twenty. Since he gave up architecture to devote himself exclusively to artistic works, he has produced an extensive oeuvre present in private and public collections at home and abroad; works commissioned for public spaces have taken him all the way to China in the Far East. Today he lives and works in Lucca, Tuscany, where he also exhibits his works to art aficionados and customers in his own private gallery.
