Kurt & Bruno Eggenberger

The Eggenberger sculptor studio has existed for nearly four decades and is a classic family business. Hans, the father, founded it in 1974 and in 1976, his son Kurt joined the business after completing his "sculpting apprenticeship" (Bildhauerlehre). Then, in 1981, Bruno Eggenberger joined the business as the third family member. Since 1987, the studio is run by the sons. They work with a wide variety of materials such as natural stone, iron, wood and metal and offer individual graves and fountains. But they also do the interior and exterior construction. In addition, they are very popular and competent restorers. Their bronze works are characterized by a large naturalistic accuracy - and often by a corresponding ironic humour.
